Leslie Weekes is co-founder and principal of Leslie-Manning Events. She is a skilled negotiator with expertise in budgeting, site selection, and vendor contracts; Leslie is proficient in all aspects of event logistics, menu planning, and entertainment.
A New York transplant, Leslie started her career as a meeting and event planner in Washington, DC in 2001. In this position she managed and executed high-level conferences and events across the country. In 2005, Leslie co-founded Leslie-Manning Events with Jenniffer Manning-Scherhaufer, a public relations professional.
Most recently, Leslie was the DC Wedding Planning Expert for Examiner.com. She has been quoted in BizBash Magazine, has appeared on HGTV's Property Virgins, and contributed to Bridal Guide Magazine and Event Solutions Magazine, a trade magazine for professionals involved in all aspects of the event, meeting, and incentive markets.
Leslie combines her years of experience in the special event industry and her passion for weddings and parties to reduce her clients stress, save them time and work, and ensure they receive value for their money.
